One of the options we regularly create for our clients is the addition of an Octagon. Whether on a raised, on a lower, or on the same level of the main deck, an Octagon enhances the sight lines and creates its own unique space. When on the same level, changing the board pattern identifes the Octagon's boundaries. Introducing an accent color here is very impressive. But when changing levels, the Octagon is distinguished with changing board patterns to aid in eliminating any trip hazards. Often times we will add accent lighting to illuminate the transition.
